The Union of Front Veteran Soldier
The Union of Front Veteran Soldiers in Finland serves as an interest group for the front veteran soldiers involved in Finland's wars from 1939 to 1945. The central goals of the Union are improvements in the pension security and housing conditions of veterans, as well as in rehabilitation and health care.

The Union is a member of the Advisory Board of Veteran's Affairs in Finland, which is a state organ responsible for the preparation of issues pertaining to front veteran soldiers. The Board operates under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.

Any individual with a front service sign is eligble for the membership in the Union of Front Veteran Soldiers in Finland. Members currently number some 10.000, in addition to which the supporting Ladies' Auxiliary has over 3000 members and over 4000 supporting members.
